Baby shower games can be the life of your baby shower. There are various baby shower games you
can pick from, or you can come up with new ideas on your own. Just remember to plan ahead of
time how long each game will take and how many games you should have at your baby shower. You
want to set the time the games take so that the guests don't get bored with playing games but
that they aren't left hanging feeling like you should have had more games. Here is a list of some
fun baby shower games that you can use for ideas for your baby shower.
Name the Baby Food: Have the guests number their paper from 1 to 10. Then you take 10 jars of
baby food with the labels torn off and number them from 1 to 10. Pass the baby food jars around
and have guests guess what kind of baby food it is! Guests can smell or even taste the baby food
if they want! You could also use 15 different jars if you choose to do so.
Baby Alphabet: Have the guests write the alphabet vertically on their paper. Then set a timer
for 1 minute or 2 minutes, whichever you prefer. The guests need to write down baby items that
start with that letter of the alphabet. For example, "D is for Diaper, B is for bottle" they
could even do brand names like "E is for Evenflo", basically anything baby related. They don't
have to go in order, they can skip around and put an answer for B then and answer for R, etc.
Whose Poop: Take 12 baby diapers and melt some type of candy in the diaper. Ideas are: Snickers,
Reese cups, Mounds, brown M&Ms, Crunch, Caramelo, etc. Have your guests number their paper from
1 to 12 and write down their guesses. The guests can't taste or touch the poop but they can smell
it. This game often has guests laughing and blushing throughout the game and it is a real hit.
Don't Say Baby: When the guests arrive, give them a clothes pin to wear on their shirt. When everyone
has arrived announce the game to everyone. The rules are that if you say baby whoever catches you can
take your clothespin. Whoever has the most clothespins at the end of the baby shower wins.
There are various other game ideas that I am sure you can think of. Don't forget to get prizes for
the winners. Prize ideas could be candles, body lotions, makeup, jewelry, etc. various things that
every woman enjoys. Everyone loves baby shower games.
